Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion

Y’all, it’s September, which means it’s almost time for one of my favorite music events! My hometown of Bristol (I’m from the Virginia side, but if you’ve seen the Geico commercial, there’s also Bristol, Tennessee…if you stand in the middle of our main street, you can have one foot in Virginia and one foot in Tennessee!) is the Birthplace of Country Music (nope, it’s not Nashville!) and hosts the Rhythm & Roots Reunion festival every year.

Austin, Texas Bachelorette (Final Day!)

Tuesday was our last day in Austin, and we still had so many things to do! I knew we’d be eating a ton on this trip, so I figured another workout class might be a good idea.

The indoor surfboards were out of our comfort zone, but not as much as this…

Austin, Texas Bachelorette (Day 3)

The Spring Break Countdown

The daffodils and cherry trees are blooming, which means spring is here, right? I was hoping so, but it’s been one rainy and gloomy week and weekend! My parents, who live in Virginia, said it’s rained so much the last week+ that people have been out of school and in landslides. I’m not sure if that’s better than snow or not.

All I know is that there’s one more week of school before spring break, and I AM SO READY.

Bachelorette Party – Part 2

My head is swimming from all the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales that I’ve been trying to keep up with. Sometimes keeping up with all the “stuff” can be overwhelming, so I wanted to go back to writing about things that aren’t stressful. If you missed my post from Sunday, I’m rehashing my fabulous bachelorette party that my best friends planned for me last year!
