I’m interrupting my series on London to bring y’all a super comfortable and budget-friendly Fourth of July outfit! And yes, I totally get the irony of this post disrupting information on England 🙂
But everybody here in the U.S. is in Fourth of July planning mode. And we all know that planning for the Fourth of July means getting that comfortable but festive outfit ready for slamming down the hot dogs and watching fireworks!
April’s weather has been all over the place! I thought we had finally made it out of the cold weather woods, but my girlfriends and I visited Asheville this past weekend and I went from 80-degree weather and sleeveless dresses to flannel, boots, and an umbrella that wasn’t nearly big enough!
But, I think we’re finally set for some solid 70s and 80s! Hooray! It’s time to finally bust out the short rompers!
Chambray. Denim. Jean. No matter what you call it, I love it in all forms! I stopped in at Kohl’s the other weekend, and although I went in with the intention of trying on a bunch of the new spring dresses, I ended up being drawn to everything chambray.
With spring finally here, so are all the spring and summer weddings! I don’t know about you, but my mailbox has already been filling up with save the dates, engagement party invites, and bridal shower cards!
My sister’s wedding is in May, so my friends and family definitely all have wedding on our mind!
Other than all the flowers that are popping up everywhere, my favorite part of spring is dresses, dresses, and more dresses! I hate wearing pants – they’re so restricting and judgmental! – so I can usually be found wearing dresses all year round, anyway. But there’s something so freeing about a fun spring dress with a cute pair of sandals.
And it’s even better when that fun spring dress comes with a totally affordable price tag!
I know this post doesn’t go with the season, but it’s still in the 90s in our part of North Carolina (get it together, October!). Plus, this Banjanan Blue Dandelion Rose Jumpsuit was one of my favorite outfits from Rent the Runway! The main reason it’s one of my favorites is because it basically felt like I was wearing pajamas all day. Who can complain about that? Continue reading
