My Christmas tree has been up since the weekend after Thanksgiving. I have most of my Christmas shopping done, and all the gifts I’ve purchased are wrapped and under the tree. But for some reason, I’m having a really hard time processing that Christmas is NEXT WEEK.
Even though the day after Black Friday has been designated as Small Business Saturday, supporting small and local businesses is important every day of the year! And with so many small businesses struggling this year, it’s even more important to show our love.

Well, my husband and I both lost the bet of when we thought they’d finally move my face to face teaching online. When did they finally call it, you ask? Never. I finished my last day this week. If you missed my initial thoughts from the beginning of school, you can check out that post here.
Oh, the dreaded Monday. Back in the spring when we were all doing virtual teaching, Monday didn’t feel quite so scary because it didn’t quite feel like I was actually going to work. I’m currently on Week 14 of face to face teaching (I can’t believe we are actually going to finish a whole semester of in-person school) and all that’s really left is the worst part…grading.
Even if you’re not a teacher, I’m sure you have those little tasks you like to suddenly partake in when you’re trying to procrastinate and put off things that you hate doing. I like to call mine procrasti-baking!
