Swing into Spring!

Other than all the flowers that are popping up everywhere, my favorite part of spring is dresses, dresses, and more dresses! I hate wearing pants – they’re so restricting and judgmental! – so I can usually be found wearing dresses all year round, anyway. But there’s something so freeing about a fun spring dress with a cute pair of sandals.

And it’s even better when that fun spring dress comes with a totally affordable price tag!

It’s hard to believe that both dresses featured today were less than $30 total. I didn’t hesitate to snag both items as I was passing through the women’s aisle, and you should too because they’re going really fast!

First up: dress-with-pockets lovers, give me your attention! This super affordable swing dress was only $10(!!!) and has the pockets we all so desperately crave [crowd goes wild!].

I absolutely love jersey dresses, and have so many in my closet, because they are such easy dresses to throw on during the spring and summer to look put together, but they’re also great with layers in the spring and the fall. I wear jersey dresses to work ALL the time – they’re easy to move around in and completely comfortable for sitting at a desk all day. If your goal is to have a budget-friendly closet, jersey dresses are key items because they’re comfy and versatile!

And y’all did see those magic words, right?? POCKETS. Every woman’s dream.

And y’all will never guess where I got this dress.

WALMART. I’ve been really impressed and excited by the items that Walmart has been putting out lately. Time and Tru is a brand that frequently has really cute items, and the price tags are always music to my ears!

Although I chose to pair the dress with some backless loafer mules (they had just arrived and I was super excited to try them out), I really think this dress would look great with some wedge sandals. It’s also a really great item for a beach vacation that wouldn’t take up very much space in your luggage!

I love navy blue (and probably have too much blue) because it’s just a classic color that can be paired with so many different patterns and colors. In addition to navy blue, this dress comes in 10 other colors, including striped versions! For reference, I’m wearing a small.

These dresses have been going pretty quickly at my local store, so make sure you snag one before they’re all gone! Put all the money you’re saving in the pockets of this dress when you’re done! 🙂

Next up: this gorgeous rose lace dress!

Y’all, I still can’t believe this dress was only $16 at Walmart. I was walking through Belk the other day and saw almost the exact same dress for over $40.

There are so many details in the lace, and I think the neckline and armholes are really cute because of the detailing. There’s a keyhole button at the back, and the dress is lined (from the bust down). I just can’t get over that it was only $16.

I’m loving this dress as an option for Easter, and I’ve already decided that I’ll be wearing this dress to one of the many weddings I have on the calendar for the spring. It’s a juniors dress, so the sizing is a bit smaller than normal. If you have hips like me, it might be a good idea to size up. I’m wearing a medium (7/9).

The dress comes in the rose color I have on, rustic brick, and white (wouldn’t it make a perfect bridal shower or rehearsal dinner dress?). These are going super fast online, and I know they’re already sold out at my local store. Run and gets yours as soon as possible!

Happy shopping, y’all! Be sure to tag me or share pics if you get any of these dresses!

I am the same way as you, dresses over pants! And if you add pockets, that’s just perfection! I can’t believe you found both these dresses at Walmart! I would NEVER have expected that!
