It’s been so fun recapping my bachelorette party! We’re currently having forecasts predicting multiple inches of snow, so it’s also nice thinking about beaches and bikinis!
Today I’m wrapping up my oh-so-fun bachelorette party from last October. Make sure you check out the previous posts here, here, and here!
Since it was our last full day, it was another float-and-snack in the pool kinda day (no complaints here!). The pool had finally heated itself up enough that it was the perfect temperature!
For our evening activity, my ladies had lined up another food tour – they know me well! ❤️
We got all dressed up and, before leaving, spent some time taking photos with all our cute decorations and props!
So what was our food-themed night activity??
A gondola food tour!
If you’re planning on visiting Fort Lauderdale, I can’t recommend this activity enough! It would be especially perfect if, like us, you were celebrating an event! Our tour was booked through Riverfront Gondola Tours. I had no idea what we were doing, but the ladies kept having me look at a menu and decide if that was what we wanted to have during our cruise (yes, DURING!). What’s better than a gondola ride around Fort Lauderdale? Eating while doing it, duh!
They also offer Christmas light tours! That would be SO much fun if you’re in the Fort Lauderdale area during Christmas!
What makes this gondola tour even cooler is that you can have Bao Asian Kitchen deliver your food DIRECTLY to the boat! Plates and all!
And y’all…we didn’t just order some food. We ORDERED SOME FOOD. I should probably be embarrassed to show you the number of plates we had, but I’m honestly more impressed than ashamed. We frequently have a fear of missing out if we don’t order every single thing on the menu that looks good to us. You only live once, right?
It was so much fun to ride around on the river and see all the humongous houses that we’ll never be able to afford! We even passed by Usher’s yacht!
If you remember my post about our close-call at the parking garage after the Miami food tour, we totally got payback for our good luck on our river cruise. We were out in the middle of the river, with no one else around, in the dark, with limited cell service, and our engine died. No joke.
But rather than panic (and I think our captain was more panicked than we were), we laughed so hard. It took about ten minutes to get the boat going again, but off we went to gawk at all the millionaire mansions.
Y’all, that weekend was so much fun, and again, I’m so thankful to have such wonderful friends!
And now I’m currently planning my sister’s bachelorette party, so if you have any suggestions for locations or fun activities, I’d love to hear them in the comments!
