Splurge or Save – The Wedge Bootie

It’s still in the solid 90s in my part of North Carolina, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t set my sights on some fall clothing items. Wishful thinking for cooler weather? For sure.

The wedge bootie appears to be back for round 2 this fall. Although I wanted a pair last year, I never made the purchase because I couldn’t find a pair that fit my budget. The Sperry version below on the left is oh-so-adorable, but, unfortunately, this gal doesn’t have $130 to spend on one pair of shoes.

But thanks to Target, I’ve already purchased an affordable pair of wedge booties for the fall (right side). Originally priced at a very wallet-friendly $35, Target is running these guys for $27.99 online (plus free shipping and 5% off with your Red card). So now you have funds available for a fall hat, poncho, bucket bag, sweater, or another pair of boots 😉

Which version is your favorite? What kind of booties are you craving for the fall?
