It’s that time again. Your entire social media feed for the next month is going to be filled with people posting about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.

Even as a blogger, I’ll admit that it gets exhausting seeing Nordstrom posts from everyone for so long, so I promise this will be the only blog post I have about it. Honestly, I rarely find things that I absolutely can’t live without or super amazing deals. True, you can find some designer pieces dropped down, but I’m not the person who buys purses and boots that are hundreds of dollars each (no judgment…it’s just not my thing). I also usually miss out on items I do like because I don’t have a Nordstrom credit card and can’t shop early. If you’re a Nordstrom credit card holder, remember that you have access to the sale tomorrow (Aug. 4)!
But I do like window shopping and picked out some of my favorite items!
I have a Caslon knit blazer from Nordstrom and it’s my FAVORITE. I can’t wear regular blazers anymore because this one is just so soft and comfy. The only problem is deciding which color I like the best!
I’m a sucker for some pointed toe booties because I think they’re super sexy – maybe because they have a bit of a cowboy vibe? Anyway, these block heel booties are my favorite ones from the sale. They come in solid colors, too, in case you’re not into the snakeskin trend!

It’s hard to beat a sweet, feminine blouse with fun details, so I was instantly in love with this leopard blouse (and did I mention it’s leopard?). And if you’re back at work, I think this would look so pretty with a black pencil skirt!

It’s the end of July, 95 degrees and what feels like 100% humidity, and I still want to curl up in this fuzzy jacket! Teddy bear coats have been super popular the last two winters, and if we’re all still kind of staying at home by the time winter comes, I’ll certainly want a fuzzy jacket or cardigan to lounge around in.
This blouse had me at “ruffle” but then I clicked through and saw this color combo! I absolutely LOVE the mixing of patterns on this one – who knew floral and cheetah could pair so well?! And if you’re not into the mix-n-match pattern, it comes in leopard and a burgundy floral that’s also really beautiful. I think this blouse just went to the top of my wish list!
Are people still having/going to weddings these days? As soon as I saw this dress, it made me think of a wedding. I love how the flutter sleeves make this simple dress much more interesting. And of course I love the bright pink!

At first I scrolled past these pants, but then I went back to them because I couldn’t stop thinking about them. I think I’m kind of into them. It’s fun taking fashion risks sometimes, and I think paired with the right items, these pants could be really fun while also chic and sophisticated. I have shorter, thick legs, so I’d probably opt for some heels rather than flats.
And to end, let’s bring in a little bling. I love these kate spade earrings because of all the glittery colors. I think they’d be perfect for casual or dressy outfits!
If you’re a fan of shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, remember that they often add new items, but as someone who has sometimes missed out on items because I waited too long, if you like it, buy it or you might never see it again!
