New Year’s Eve Outfit Ideas

Fun fact: New Year’s Eve is our wedding anniversary! This year we’ll be celebrating year two. We haven’t nailed down any plans just yet, but the great thing about having a New Year’s Eve anniversary is that there are always so many options for celebrating to choose from…

New Year’s Eve is all about celebrating, so today I’ve rounded up some really fun pieces that would be perfect for a night out on the town or even for a party with friends!

From left to right, top to bottom:

A-Line Midi Skirt

This skirt is so simple, but it’s so chic and sophisticated (I mean, it has “duchess” in the name, so of course you’ll feel regal in it). This skirt comes in sizes 000-16 and in jade and coral. On the website they also have it paired with a plaid button-up shirt, so it’s a great piece to make super dressy or casual dressy for work. It’s currently 50% off with code DONUTS, so hurry if you want to snatch it up!

A-Line Midi Dress

I’m all about some color on New Year’s Eve because so many people naturally opt for black, so of course I went nuts over this bright berry lace dress! It comes in sizes 000-16 and is also available in khaki and black. I can’t really wear dresses that have seams that hit my middle, so if you wear this dress, please tag me in your photos or post to my comments so I can live through you! If you have a dressier wedding to attend, I think this would be great for the dance floor!

Sequin Jumpsuit

I’m obsessed with jumpsuits. The great thing about a jumpsuit is that your outfit is ready to go – you don’t have to worry about finding a shirt to match or what pants will pair well with the top. This one is covered in sequins and would be super fun for New Year’s Eve! It comes in sizes 0-12 and is also available in a really pretty champagne color!

2020 Sweatshirt

iconIt’s no secret that I love a good sweatshirt, so one that’s celebrating the New Year is perfect! I think this would be so cute paired with a faux leather or sequin skirt, especially if you have more low-key plans for the evening. This sweatshirt comes in XS-L.

Sequin Blazer

I just found this yesterday and sizes are already mostly sold out for this blazer. If you want a similar but MUCH more budget-friendly version, check this one out!

Tuxedo Jumpsuit

This jumpsuit is also going really fast, so make your move if you’re loving it and it’s still in your size! I love the classic look of this jumpsuit, and it would be adorable for a fancier party. The ivory one would also be great for some pre-wedding events if you’re getting married soon! It also comes in black, but sizes are very limited in both.

Bow-Back Shift Dress

I think this is such a sweet dress – I’m a sucker for bows. This satin dress comes in sizes 000-16, and right now it’s 55% off. I think this dress would also be really pretty for an indoor winter wedding. It also comes in black.

What plans do you have for New Year’s Eve? Are you a fan of going out and celebrating, or do you prefer staying in and watching the ball drop on tv? Let me know in the comments!
