Time to stock up on athletic gear!

If part of your 2019 goals is starting a workout plan, working out more, or continuing your great fitness habits (go you!), then now is a great time to bulk up – pun intended – your athletic wear!

Right now, Target is having a great deal where if you buy $40 worth of athletic apparel, you get a $10 gift card to use at a later time. Yay!

And it’s an even better incentive because they have SO MUCH cute stuff right now. My mom, who coached my high school tennis team, always told us that if we look good, we play better! I know some people think that women in the gym won’t be taken seriously if we’re in cute workout gear, but I’m a firm believer that we can tear it up in the gym and still look good doing it! 💁🏻‍♀️

C9 Fleece Joggers | Nike Women’s Free RN 2017 Running Shoe

I’m trying to get back into a running routine (see my last post for my 2019 goals), and I’m so glad I found these jogger pants. Sometimes tights just aren’t warm enough, but these C9 pants are fleece-lined and oh-so-cozy! They also come in black, which I probably also need, and these will likely serve as lounging pants, too 😉.

I also love the waistband because it doesn’t squeeze everything up and over. No muffin tops welcome here 🙅🏻‍♀️.

I’m also so in love with this Virginia Tech Sherpa. It’s not part of the gift card deal, but how snuggly is this?? I’m not finding it on the website, but I’d suggest searching your local store. I also linked some other Sherpa tops at the bottom of this post.

I also picked up this navy top for the gym and when it gets warmer outside. I really like the asymmetrical side slit to make it a little different from t-shirt tops. I’m wearing a medium, but if you’re small up top, you might want to size down.

Asymmetrical C9 Top | JoyLab Leggings (old, these match the top) | Nike Shoes (old, NIKE Women’s Tanjun Running Shoes are cute alternatives)

I wasn’t sure about how I felt pairing it with these JoyLab leggings (a steal from the 50% off rack from the fall!), but I’m kind of digging the vibrant mixture of colors. I’ll probably wear different shoes next time because it might be too much pink? That’s something you won’t hear me say often!

And how cute is that water bottle my friend Corrine gave me for my birthday!?

I’m thinking of grabbing up a few more pieces while Target is still offering this deal, so here are some more items I have my eyes on!

C9 Sleeveless Top | JoyLab Performance Leggings | Sherpa Cowl Neck Pullover | JoyLab Layering Turtleneck | Sherpa Full-Zip Fleece | JoyLab Seamless Leggings

What are some of your favorite Target workout pieces? Do you think the pink is too much in the second outfit, or just enough?

And let me know what your 2019 goals are! I’d love to be part of your support group!
