Y’all, I’m so obsessed with this Morphe eyeshadow palette. I’m no makeup artist, that’s for sure, but it’s so much fun to get ready in the morning and have all these fun colors to play with. And for a limited time, you can score this palette at Ulta for only $15!!!
My friend Hannah had never been to Ulta, but she loves makeup. I was so excited that I got to take her on her first trip to Ulta! It was a magical moment. I’m also really happy that she was with me because she talked me into being brave and purchasing this Morphe 35F Fall into Frost Eyeshadow Palette.
At first I was completely overwhelmed. I’m used to rubbing three basic browns on my lids (with my fingers and not even with proper eyeshadow brushes, ha), so having that many options and not a lot of knowledge on how to mix colors left me a little clueless.
But thank goodness for YouTube! After a desperate little search, I found this helpful tutorial and finally just jumped in. That’s what they make makeup remover for, right?
Even if you don’t feel like you’re an eyeshadow pro, I do highly recommend investing in some brushes to help with application (see below for recommendations). I usually start with a blending brush and use one of the light colors on the bottom or top row of the palette to brush all over my lid. I follow that with a darker color in the crease applied with a crease brush and blend, blend, blend with a fluffy blending brush. And frequently I’ve been using an angled brush to add some shadow under my bottom lashes.

I haven’t created any daring looks yet, but I’ve definitely stepped out of my normal three-shades-of-brown comfort zone. Although I love the copper shades, I have allllll the heart eyes for the shimmery burgundy ones! For the finishing touch, I usually wet a concealer brush to make the color and shimmer stand out even brighter.

And since this palette is on sale for $15, you can use it to try out some new Thanksgiving eyes to debut at family dinner! Or get it for someone’s holiday present!
Have you tried any of the Morphe palettes? Are you an eyeshadow pro or does a palette with that many colors freak you out? Let me know if you already have or buy this palette and what your favorite looks are! I’d also love to see pictures!
